“VS Illegal Instruction” is an ambitious and thrilling mod for the rhythm game Friday Night Funkin’, where players are introduced to an expanded universe featuring Duke and Chaotix as the main protagonists. This mod takes players on a sonic adventure, filled with intense rap battles against a roster of characters drawn from the darker corners of Sonic the Hedgehog lore and beyond.

In this mod, players face off against a terrifying lineup of foes, each bringing their own unique challenges and musical tracks to the battle. The roster includes:

• A more sinister version of Tails Doll, bringing a level of creepiness that fans of the character would expect.
• Phantom versions of Tails & Knuckles, offering a ghostly challenge with their ethereal presence.
• Dr. Eggman/Robotnik, the notorious villain, presents his genius in a musical showdown.
• Faker BF, a deceptive doppelganger with tricks up his sleeve.
• Fleetway Super Sonic, the malevolent transformation of Sonic, fueled by chaos energy.

Duke is the main antagonist of the mod. In this timeline, X became Duke instead of Sonic.EXE and his story is a retelling of the original Sonic.EXE story. Thomas receives the disc related to the Sonic franchise, he plays the side story; Knuckles’ Chaotix. All characters throughout the game die and Thomas not before dies by an unknown force. Mod has horror & jumpscares and secret songs in files.

The goal of this web optimized port is to make FNF and this mod more accessible to players that can’t otherwise play it on their potato PC, on a Chromebook,  on their Mac, on their Linux, or simply can’t run the EXE files on their computer. Also help save hard drive space. Please keep in mind that this online web port might be slightly different and/or have missing mechanics than the PC version. So make sure to also get the PC version if you have a PC.

If you want a challenge, turn off Ghost Tapping in the settings.
