Description

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus,” released in 2004 by Konami, is a third-person beat ’em up game and sequel to the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game. The game, inspired by the 2003 TV series, follows the storyline of the show’s second season. It begins with the turtles—Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello—battling the Shredder at the Foot’s headquarters and searching for their missing master, Splinter. Their quest leads them to the TCRI building, headquarters of the alien Utroms and the source of the mutation-causing ooze.

Transported across the galaxy, the turtles land on D’Hoonib and find themselves amidst a conflict between the Federation and the Triceratons, both vying for a teleportation device. They encounter allies and enemies, including the mercenary Slashuur. The turtles return to Earth with the Utroms, uncover the history of their feud with the Foot Clan, and engage in multiple battles, including facing the Ultimate Ninja and participating in the Battle Nexus tournament. The story culminates with battles against enhanced robots, the revelation of personal ties to their enemies, and strategic alliances to thwart Shredder’s plans.
