Description

“The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages” is one of the two Game Boy Color games in the series, alongside “Oracle of Seasons.” These games are the seventh and eighth main entries in the series. In “Oracle of Ages,” Link is transported to Labrynna by the Triforce. Upon arrival, he encounters Impa, who is under attack by Octoroks. Unbeknownst to Link, Impa is manipulated by the evil Sorceress of Shadows, Veran, who uses the opportunity to deceive Link into freeing her from a sacred barrier. Veran then possesses Nayru, the Oracle of Ages, and uses her power to control time, traveling to the past to execute her malicious plans. Link, after meeting the Maku Tree, the guardian of Labrynna, learns that he must collect the Essences of Time, scattered across different eras, to defeat Veran. Equipped with the Harp of Ages, Link ventures through time, gathering the Essences and repairing the havoc wreaked by Veran, including in places like Symmetry Village.
