Metroid Zero Mission
Description
“Metroid: Zero Mission” is an action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo R&D1 and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance handheld console in 2004. It is a remake of the original “Metroid” game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1986, and it also incorporates elements from “Super Metroid,” released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994.
In “Metroid: Zero Mission,” players once again assume the role of the intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran as she explores the planet Zebes to eliminate the threat posed by the Space Pirates and their leader, Mother Brain. The game features classic side-scrolling action-adventure gameplay, with players navigating through interconnected areas, solving puzzles, and battling enemies.
One of the game’s standout features is its enhanced graphics, updated controls, and expanded level design compared to the original “Metroid.” The game also introduces new abilities and mechanics, such as the ability to aim Samus’s weapons in any direction and the inclusion of new areas and boss battles not present in the original game.
