Welcome to Energy Seekers: IPD Contracts, a thrilling 2D action game that thrusts you into the role of Oscar, a cyborg business owner, on a mission to maintain order in the gritty streets of The Slums. Tasked with taking on contracts from the enigmatic IPD, your objective is to hunt down Vigilants and Scavengers who are wreaking havoc and causing chaos.

Joined by your trusty companion Tak, a skilled weapons expert and doctor, you’ll navigate through the dangerous streets, facing off against relentless enemies and overcoming formidable challenges. Together, you’ll protect the city and aim for the highest score, all while striving to keep your business afloat in the face of adversity.

Oscar:

Meet Oscar, the manager of a struggling business on the brink of collapse. Faced with desperation and mounting stress, Oscar made a fateful decision to undergo multiple operations and experimental robotic implants in exchange for much-needed funds. However, these implants brought him excruciating pain every time he utilized them, threatening to overwhelm him at every turn.

Despite his suffering, Oscar found solace and support in an unlikely ally – a young Cyclops who possessed unique abilities to help him manage and alleviate the pain caused by the experimental parts. With the Cyclops’s assistance, Oscar gained a newfound sense of control and resilience, allowing him to endure the hardships that came with his augmented body.

Tak:

A skilled artisan dedicated to the craft of manufacturing, maintaining, and selling weapons and mechanical parts. As the proprietor of a shop located in District 4, now known as The Slums, Tak’s expertise extends beyond weaponry – he also serves as a trusted doctor for the cyborg and robot population inhabiting The Slums.

Throughout his career, Tak has earned a reputation for his unwavering commitment to his craft and his compassionate nature toward those in need. It is this dedication that led him to cross paths with Oscar, the manager of a struggling business burdened by experimental robotic implants.

On numerous occasions, Tak has come to Oscar’s aid, saving his life and providing crucial medical assistance to alleviate the pain caused by his experimental implants. Their frequent interactions and shared experiences forged a deep bond between them, transforming their acquaintance into a close friendship.
